What happens after you request a shortlist.
Your project brief is reviewed by a person. We check fit and public evidence, then follow up by email without promising a deadline or builder response.
After submission
Your request does not go straight to builders.
The review is manual from the first read through any email follow-up. Your information is not automatically matched, ranked, or sent onward.

We read your project brief
A person reviews the city, ADU type, project stage, budget, priorities, notes, and contact details you submit.

We check location and project fit
We look for builders whose published information fits the location and the kind of ADU work described in your brief.

We review public builder evidence
We check builder-published local-service evidence, published ADU focus, and a dated current California Contractors State License Board record.

We follow up with you by email
After manual review, we email you. When suitable builders are available, that follow-up may include up to three evidence-backed matches and questions to compare them.

Your brief stays under your control
We share your project brief with a relevant builder only when you have consented. Submitting a request does not require you to contact or hire anyone.

A request does not guarantee a match, a specific match count, a builder response, response time, price, or project outcome. Builder information and license status can change, so confirm current facts before signing.

- A shortlist is a research starting point, not an endorsement, inspection, paid placement, or Verified status.

When suitable builders are available, your shortlist may include up to three evidence-backed matches. The Los Angeles sample shows the brief, evidence, fit notes, questions, consent boundaries, and service limits.
